Senior Business Developer in Digitalization

About the Role

Digitalization creates value when it removes friction in everyday work. In this role, you will help a large automotive R&D organization turn inefficient processes, unclear information flows, and manual ways of working into practical improvements that people actually use.

You will join a business development and strategy team that works closely with management and cross-functional stakeholders. A central part of the role is to strengthen the management system and the SharePoint-based information landscape, making information easier to structure, maintain, access, and use. You will also help explore how data, AI, and automation can support better decisions and more effective ways of working across the organization.

This role is especially interesting if you enjoy working hands-on from idea to implementation in a complex industrial environment where improvements can create broad and lasting impact.

Job DescriptionYou will identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve processes and ways of working across the organization.

You will turn business needs and improvement ideas into practical digital solutions using available tools, data, and AI where relevant.

You will take an active role throughout the full improvement journey, from identifying problems and engaging stakeholders to implementation and follow-up.

You will support the development and continuous improvement of the management system and SharePoint environment.

You will review and improve information and documentation structures, including related permissions and collaboration setups.

You will support cross-functional digitalization and improvement initiatives based on organizational needs and priorities.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across R&D and the wider industrial group.

RequirementsBachelor's degree or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering and Management, Engineering, or Economics

Experience within digitalization, business development, process improvement, information management, or similar areas

Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint, including information and document structures, permissions, and collaboration environments

Experience identifying and implementing process improvements or digital solutions

Good understanding of data and how it can be used to improve processes and decision-making

Practical understanding of AI and automation and how these can be applied

Experience working in complex organizations with multiple stakeholders

Excellent English communication skills

Ability to complete a background check before assignment start

Nice to haveExperience with Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power BI

Experience with information architecture, document management, metadata, or knowledge management

Experience applying generative AI, Microsoft Copilot, or similar AI tools in an enterprise environment

Experience from R&D, engineering, or another complex industrial environment

Knowledge of a large vehicle manufacturer or a broader industrial group
