About Fuels Capital Fuels Capital is a Nordic private credit firm providing structured, asset-backed financing to entrepreneurs and privately held companies across Northern and Western Europe. We focus on fundamentally sound businesses, unlocking liquidity from illiquid asset bases and ownership structures to enable acquisitions, growth, and shareholder liquidity, always with a strong emphasis on downside protection. Our strategy centres on senior secured and secured subordinated lending, typically backed by real estate, financial assets, or other hard collateral. We invest across two segments: (1) Growth, entrepreneurial capital for SMEs; and (2) Corporate, structured lending within the lower mid-market, with ticket sizes of EUR 5-25 million. The Role We're looking for a Marketing Manager who builds authority, not just awareness. You'll work directly with leadership, set the strategy yourself and own a lot of the output, supported by a freelance bench but not waiting for one. The goal is to make Fuels Capital the name that entrepreneurs, investors and their advisors think of first when capital is tied up in the wrong place at the wrong time. What you'll own Earned media & PR

Execute PR activities that generate earned media across European fintech, finance, and national business press.

Orchestrate local PR agencies across all markets.

Build and manage media relationships, pitch stories, coordinate interviews, and secure speaking opportunities and partnerships.

Leadership personal brand

Own the leadership team's personal brands by managing LinkedIn, thought leadership, podcasts, conferences, awards, and public appearances.

Events & partnerships

Plan and deliver customer events, executive dinners, webinars, conferences, and partner events -- from idea to execution.

Content & proof

Produce LinkedIn content, newsletters, press releases, customer stories, and case studies that strengthen the company's market position.

Turn customer wins into compelling stories with measurable business outcomes and named references.

Proprietary research

Build and own an annual report or data product on the European asset-based financing landscape that earns press and positions Fuels as the credible voice in the category.

Paid media & campaigns

Lead the planning and coordination of paid media, digital advertising, and campaign execution in collaboration with the 0TO9 Marketing Team.

Performance & reporting

Measure and report on PR impact, event performance, content engagement, and pipeline contribution.

Who you are You've done this before, not just the strategy, but the actual work. You've placed stories, written content that landed, built executive profiles, and run events that opened doors. You know how to work with agencies and freelancers without losing quality, and you connect what you do to pipeline, not just impressions. You're the kind of person who'd rather ship the thing than wait for perfect conditions. Must-haves

Solid B2B marketing and communications background, from a high-growth company or agency.

Hands-on experience in PR, content, events and founder branding, not just one of them.

A strong writer who can turn complex topics into stories people actually read.

Commercially minded and self-driven, with low ego and high standards.

Nice to have

Fluency in the world of entrepreneurs, investors and private credit.

Experience running a proprietary research or data product.

Multi-market European experience and additional languages.
