We are looking for a Corporate Accountant to join an international Finance organization supporting legal entities across the Nordic region. This is a broad and hands-on role where you will take ownership of the balance sheet and contribute to accounting, reporting, tax, treasury, compliance and internal controls. This is a 5–6-month consultancy opportunity with start September 15. About the role As a Corporate Accountant, you will act as a key partner to the Legal Entity Controller, providing accounting, compliance, tax and treasury support for the company´s legal entities in the Nordic region. You will have ownership of the balance sheet and play a key role in month-, quarter- and year-end closing activities. You will also support statutory reporting, group reporting and internal controls. Your responsibilities will include: Taking ownership of the balance sheet, including account reconciliations, analysis and correcting journals. Supporting month-, quarter- and year-end closing activities. Preparing journals, analytical reviews and accounting analyses. Ensuring reporting deadlines are met in close collaboration with the Shared Service Center. Supporting the preparation of group reporting packages in accordance with US GAAP. Preparing accounting position papers and providing guidance on accounting matters. Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Preparing weekly cash and liquidity forecasts and monitoring cash movements and payments. Supporting statutory financial statements under local GAAP. Supporting corporate income tax calculations and tax compliance activities. Preparing and reviewing direct and indirect tax reporting. Monitoring tax compliance obligations and ensuring timely filings. Supporting internal control testing within Record-to-Report. Monitoring compliance with group and management controls. Supporting internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation and responses to audit queries. Reviewing payroll postings and ensuring transactions are correctly recorded. Providing accounting support and guidance to internal stakeholders. Identifying issues, analyzing financial information and proposing pragmatic solutions.

About you We are looking for an experienced accounting professional who combines strong technical accounting knowledge with a high level of accuracy, independence and business understanding. You are comfortable working with deadlines and multiple stakeholders and enjoy taking ownership of your responsibilities. You have a structured and analytical approach, but you are also pragmatic and able to quickly adapt when priorities change. To be successful in this role, we believe you have: A Bachelor´s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. Approximately 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting, financial analysis or audit. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including US GAAP and local GAAP. Experience working with tax accounting and compliance. Good understanding of internal controls and Record-to-Report processes. Previous experience working with international companies or clients. Experience from an audit firm is highly valued. Experience with SAP; knowledge of BlackLine is an advantage. Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken. Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The ability to work independently with limited supervision. A proactive, reliable and solution-oriented mindset. The ability to build strong relationships across different functions, cultures and levels of seniority.
