SAP EWM/TM/BN4L Functional Expert

Role Overview We are looking for an experienced SAP EWM/TM/BN4L Functional Expert to support end-to-end logistics, warehouse, transportation, and carrier collaboration processes in an SAP transformation environment. The consultant will work closely with business, IT, warehouse, transportation, carrier, and integration teams to design, configure, test, and support SAP logistics solutions across SAP EWM, SAP TM, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Business Network for Logistics — BN4L. Key Responsibilities Configure and support SAP EWM processes including inbound, outbound, internal movements, RF, packing, staging, wave management, replenishment, physical inventory, yard management, and exception handling. Configure and support SAP TM processes including freight unit building, transportation planning, freight orders, carrier selection, tendering, charge calculation, execution, and freight settlement. Support SAP BN4L scenarios such as freight collaboration, carrier onboarding, shipment visibility, event tracking, milestone monitoring, and exception management. Lead business workshops, gather requirements, and translate them into functional designs. Prepare functional specifications, process flows, configuration documents, test scripts, and integration mapping documents. Support integrations between EWM, TM, BN4L, S/4HANA, SD, MM, LE, FI/CO, and third-party logistics or carrier systems. Work with technical teams on APIs, IDocs, EDI, BTP/CPI, middleware, and interface issue resolution. Support testing, UAT, cutover, go-live, hypercare, and post-go-live stabilization. Identify process improvements across warehouse, transportation, and logistics collaboration areas.

Key Deliverables EWM/TM/BN4L solution design and configuration. Functional specifications and process documentation. Integration and interface support. Test scripts, UAT, and defect resolution. Cutover, go-live, and hypercare support. Continuous process improvement recommendations.

Required Skills 7+ years of SAP functional consulting experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse, or transportation management. Strong hands-on experience in SAP EWM configuration and implementation. Strong functional knowledge of SAP TM planning, execution, tendering, freight order, and settlement processes. Good understanding or practical experience with SAP BN4L / SAP Business Network for Logistics. Experience with end-to-end integration between EWM, TM, BN4L, S/4HANA, SD, MM, LE, FI/CO, and external logistics systems. Experience preparing functional specifications and working with technical/integration teams. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, stakeholder management, and communication skills. Experience in at least one full-cycle SAP implementation, rollout, or major support program.

Preferred Skills SAP S/4HANA logistics transformation experience. Experience with WCS, MFS, conveyors, ASRS, scanners, or warehouse automation. Knowledge of SAP BTP, CPI, APIs, EDI, IDocs, and integration monitoring. SAP certification in EWM, TM, S/4HANA Logistics, or related modules. Cross-module knowledge in MM, SD, PP, QM, FI/CO, and LE.
