Assignment Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer What You Will Work On Define requirements, design, and verify advanced networking products Lead bring-up activities for new hardware platforms Work with platforms utilizing technologies such as Microchip Ethernet devices and Cisco modules Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues Develop and validate Ethernet-based solutions over copper and fiber networks Verify and debug PHY, MDIO, SFP/SFP+, and related interfaces Support the development of embedded networking platforms and products Collaborate closely with electronics, firmware, and software development teams Act as a technical liaison between hardware and software disciplines Perform system-level verification and validation activities Analyze technical issues across multiple layers of the system stack Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture descriptions, test results, and analysis reports Contribute to platform architecture decisions and product development strategies
What You Bring University degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience Several years of experience in system engineering, embedded development, or networking-related product development Deep understanding of Ethernet technologies and low-level networking concepts Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up and hardware-near debugging Experience working with PHY, MDIO, or similar communication interfaces Experience with U-Boot and/or Embedded Linux environments Strong knowledge of hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers Experience with or solid understanding of SFP/SFP+ modules and optical transceivers Ability to investigate and solve complex issues spanning both hardware and software domains Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
